Our main goal is to print our own work and to publish zines by local and international folks - however we take printing commissions, too! If you want to hire us, please read these few lines carefully before e-mailing:
- Risograph ONLY prints on paper. Our machines print on uncoated papers maximum 200gr, maximum A3 size.
- Risograph is a duplicator: it makes the most sense to use it for print runs of 100-1000 copies. Hurrikan's minimum is 30 copies/design (A3 size)
-HURRIKAN is primarily a publishing house, and not at all a fast printshop. We travel to bookfairs and work as illustrators, so please plan ahead and reach out as soon as you have the basic dimensions of your project: size, number of copies, number of colors, binding style etc. If we are in Budapest, your project will most likely be printed within two weeks after you sent us the correctly prepared files.
- We do not have the capacity to prepare your stuff for riso. However, there are many tutorials online! Search for "riso file preparation". If you are unsure about something, we can always print a test for you.
